An Annual Multi-Cancer Screening Test

The incidence of cancer is growing because of risk factors like diet, smoking, stress, lifestyle changes and an increase in the aging population. One in two people in the UK born after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime. Studies have shown that early detection of cancer improves survival rates.

At VisitHealth we are pleased to offer our patients Trucheck, a blood test that enables the early detection of multiple cancers in asymptomatic individuals. Many of these cancers are not covered in routine screenings.

The Trucheck test represents a paradigm shift in cancer screening as it is non-invasive and involves no radiation. It can be done through a simple blood draw, even from the comfort of your home.

Trucheck detects circulating tumour cells (CTCs) and circulating ensembles of tumour-associated cells (C-ETACs) from a blood sample, screening for over seventy solid organ cancers, including melanoma, head and neck, salivary gland, thyroid, lung, breast, liver, biliary tract, gastrointestinal, mesothelioma, urinary tract, gynaecological, male cancers including prostate, CNS, and skin cancer.

The test can only be done after a consultation with a doctor.
