• Care Quality Commission (CQC) – an independent regulator of all health and social care services in England that monitors, inspects and regulates services to make sure they meet fundamental standards of quality and safety
• United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) – national accreditation body for the United Kingdom, appointed by government, to assess organisations that provide certification, testing, inspection and calibration services
