It is important you get tested regularly if you have diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, a family history of kidney failure or want a general health checkup.

Renal (Kidney) Function Panel

These blood tests are used to check the performance of your kidney and include 10 tests. It measures minerals, electrolytes, proteins and glucose in the blood to see how well your kidneys are functioning. It is not as extensive as Chronic Kidney Disease screening but is a great start for a general check-up, especially if you don’t have any symptoms.
