Dr Naeem Ahmed

Dr. Naeem Ahmed is a distinguished Consultant Radiologist with a specialization in musculoskeletal and oncological imaging. A graduate of Guy’s, King’s, and St Thomas’ Hospitals Medical School, he was awarded the prestigious St Thomas’ Cup upon graduation. He completed his radiology training in London, with rotations at renowned institutions including the Royal Marsden Hospital, Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children, and Royal Brompton Hospital. Dr. Ahmed further honed his expertise through a subspecialty fellowship in musculoskeletal imaging at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital, where he currently leads the Whole Body Imaging Service.

Dr. Ahmed's expertise includes advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques, such as multiparametric MRI and whole-body diffusion imaging. He has undertaken international clinical fellowships at leading centers, including University Hospital Zurich and the FIFA Centre of Excellence Aspetar Sports and Orthopaedic Hospital in Qatar.

In addition to his clinical practice, Dr. Ahmed is a recognized thought leader in radiology with numerous scientific publications and presentations, particularly in musculoskeletal imaging and health policy. He has served on the editorial board of the Royal College of Physicians’ Clinical Medicine and Future Healthcare Journal. His contributions to the field were acknowledged with the British Medical Association Young Author Award in 2017 for his co-authored textbook on chest imaging.
