Dr Parag Sayal

Mr Parag Sayal is a Consultant Neurosurgeon at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, part of University College London NHS Foundation Trust. He has expertise in both neurosurgical and orthopaedic spinal conditions and performs a wide range of complex spinal procedures, endoscopic skull base surgery, and minimally invasive spinal surgery where appropriate. His specialist interests include cervical deformity correction, spinal tumours, Tarlov cysts, craniovertebral junction disorders, syringomyelia, and vascular malformations.

Mr Sayal completed his neurosurgical training in the Yorkshire Deanery, followed by prestigious fellowships at the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, where he further specialised in advanced spinal and skull base surgery. Having performed over 1,500 neurosurgical procedures, he is also an active researcher, international speaker, and educator, with more than 60 published research abstracts and a leading role in training future neurosurgeons.
